I often wonder about facing such a natural and/or man-made disaster, and it is scary to think about.

I always think of that scripture above that you mentioned, Proverbs 18:10, and it brings me comfort, because no matter how much physical planning we can prepare ourselves for to face such things as those did in Japan, we still can't ignore the power that comes from calling on God and thinking about our spiritual safety.Stephiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18053894902084780069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1212629330675886401.post-25046295706907711632011-04-02T21:41:10.119-07:002011-04-02T21:41:10.119-07:00I've been thinking a lot about Japan lately, n...I've been thinking a lot about Japan lately, no doubt because of our own recent flood and clean up. It's easy to be upbeat about such things when I still have my home, family, food, water and electricity. I can't wrap my brain around the amount of suffering there.

More than a week ago I read words from "Jesus Calling" which said something like, "abundant life is not health and wealth, but living in relationship with Jesus (or something about His presence)." That puts things into perspective for me.Cheryl Smithhttp://www.culturesmithconsulting.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1212629330675886401.post-48320491553548009272011-03-14T13:46:49.560-07:002011-03-14T13:46:49.560-07:00Definitely!
