Pastor Allen gave an
admonition. Be open to what God is doing
as he works individually and corporately. The presence of God is thick in this
church today. Let God be God.
Then Pastor introduced our
special speaker, Chris Humphrey, who has been down the devil’s path but Jesus found
him and he is called to minister.
His wife Shared a dream, (click on the highlighted words to view the dream.)
Revelation 3:7-8 “To the angel of the church in
David was a man after God’s
own heart, and God knew David would do what ever he was told to do. Although he
was the least of his brethren, God saw his soft and obedient heart, one that
was continually filled with worship and praise.
Isaiah spoke of a valley of
trouble, but he ended with Hope as we respond to God.
We have found a place of
“Worship” not just with words and songs, but with our heart and body.
Satan fights worship and
praise because he is jealous and wanted himself to be as God.
You can be doing Christian
Discipline and Satan will whisper doubt and distraction, but learn to shut off
what Satan is trying to do, to interrupt your worship to God.
Take the Word with you into
the secret place and discover WHO you are IN Christ.
We are not just attending
“church,” but we are catching a glimpse of Jesus and his Glory.
Reach out and touch something
greater, for God desires a close relationship with us all.
There is a wake up call, to
stand in the gap for our city, and also for our nation.
We ask, “Why don’t we see
revival? Give us the KEY.”
The key was given to the
church at Philadelphia . The Key of David - - Worship and Praise. The door is open and no one can shut it. Hold Fast and enter in.
The key is granted to those
who submit to a life style of devotion.
While David tended to his sheep
the Philistines were attacking his nation.
David sang and praised the Lord.
We listen to the world’s
events and although we should be aware, we are not to be concerned and be in
fear. Love will overcome. David turned over the troubles to the Lord.
God inhabits the praises of
His people.
You might ask, “Why am I
here?”
God says, “You are here to make a
difference.”
Jesus opened the door to the
Holy of Holies when the veil of the temple was torn in twain. Now we have access right into the throne room
where Jesus sits.
You may ask, “Why am I still
empty?” Keeping rules didn’t fill the
emptiness. Many were rejected by their
parents, thinking it was their fault. They
said they loved you but they hit, abused and violated.
In Christ you are accepted
and loved. Allow Jesus the forgiver to release your parents and bring you peace. In this world there is evil, but God weeps over cities, over Jerusalem and over nations .
Get a revelation of His
love. God the Father gave Jesus to take your punishment and carry away your sin. Love others the way God loves you.
The Key of David is for you. The Door is open.
The question is, "Are you ready to walk through it?"
