Our Bible Study lessons have
been on the 10 Commandments and our teacher was addressing number eight about stealing.
Godly Universities through
the years have changed from their original intent. They began with a hunger and thirst after
Righteousness, Salvation from sin and the power of sin. They were empowered by Christ with Biblical
wisdom, training men to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how to live moral
and Godly lives.
Time has stolen their focus, and many of these higher
schools of learning would not be recognized today by their founders.
Commandment number eight is: Thou Shalt Not Steal.
We are reminded of Jacob who stole his brothers blessing and also his
birthright.
In the beginning of time the
enemy lied with sweet words and convinced Eve to partake of the forbidden
fruit. She gave to her husband and they
both did eat. Their innocence was stolen from them in the Garden of Eden. They became ashamed and guilt filled their
spirits, and their eyes were opened to know the difference between good and
evil. Satan became the authority over
their lives as they yielded to his words.
Jesus did not come to do away
with the law, but he came to fulfill it.
Lifestyle decisions can steal your health, wealth and soul.
There is a difference between
conviction and condemnation.
Conviction is from the Holy
Spirit as He gently draws you to Jesus.
Condemnation is the enemy
telling you that you are bad, no good, and have no hope.
The enemy wants to steal your PEACE with the thoughts he plants into
your mind.
Recognize where those
thoughts are coming from and resist the devil lest he steal
your confidence and assurance that Jesus brings.
Don’t let Satan steal your JOY !!
Mark
8:36 For what will it
profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses
his own soul?
Don’t let Satan steal your SOUL !!
John 10: 27-29 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will
snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them
to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.
The Scriptures tell us that
we are chosen and qualified by the Blood of Jesus and have been placed into the
family of God and into His blood line. All
God has now belongs to you.
No one can steal your inheritance.

Thank the dear Lord nothing can steal our inheritance! So blessed to know that God can keep that which we have committed unto Him against that day! May He bless you, Hazel. :)
Thank you for sharing and explaining. Our world is so filled with confusion re: the Laws. Trusting our Father is all we can ever do!
