ReplyDeleteThis is worth wishing for to have.
I love stories in the eyes and hearts of children.
Congratulations, Hazel!
Congratulation Hazel to your book. Good luck:)
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I find work, I will check this one out. Sounds great! I love the stories of our lives...
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for my book to come!
ReplyDeleteMay you be blessed as you read my stories. Thank you for being the first to purchase my book. Several at my church want me to do a book signing for them next week.
DeleteI didn't know your book was done?!!! I'm excited to buy and read it!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS!!!
Hazel:
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the publication of your book. I'm sure it is filled with wonderful memories and wisdom.
Blessings,

Hi Aunt Hazel, My book arrived today and I started reading and did not want to stop. I really enjoyed it. Now I know the story behind the turning on the fuse box... my mom mentioned it but I didn't tell me the story behind it.
ReplyDeleteI'll be looking forward to volume 2. Great job!!! Love, Connie
well, well, well...
ReplyDeleteI'd read many of these stories before on your blog and enjoyed all of them again, but some of them I didn't know! I can't believe you shoplifted, hitchhiked, and snuck out of the house down a gutter from the second floor! … I also was moved by the story of the chickens that got crushed under that box… I guess the best one was the ending… The story of you and Robert… Thank God for a happy ending… here… and in eternity…
I'm blessed by your stories Hazel, so glad you compiled them… My little one wants to read your book… I'm not sure I want her getting any ideas!!! I'll let her, your wisdom is profound… God bless you and yours and thanks for the personal greeting in the front of your book. What an honor.

I am reading your stories on my lunch hour to my co-worker. We wish our lunch hour was longer. Cathy
ReplyDeleteI had to read once and then slowly read your book again. It brought back memories of WW II

I recieved your book and have just finished reading it. I think one of the best options God added to the human mind was the memory. It allows us to store those special instances and events that bring such joy when revisited. More importantly we don't have to purchase a ticket to get in and there is no limit on how many times we can return to revisit those places, those times or those people which always remain the same in our memory. I felt a nostalgic joy when reading your book as I related to similar cherished times and events as you wrote about in your book. As I was reading, it occurred to me how I wish I could have spent time with your Dad Bryce, your uncle Clarence, and your mom, the stories they could have shared would have been extremely interesting to me. I know I could have learned much from them.
ReplyDeleteGreat job in writting your book. I am sure that Bob is very proud of your effort and personally I am very happy to have such a talented sister-in-law.
Wishing you both the very best,
Jerry and Terry
