Move Ahead

Pastor Allan put forward that we as a church must love one another and also love other ministries and work together as “one.”  We were blessed to have a large crowd from Jordan’s Crossings visit us today.  We can partner with others in the work for Jesus.

We are one body in Christ Jesus, working together for a harvest of souls.

Let our city be a city of refuge where there is safety.  It is time to take back what the enemy has stolen.

Pastor announced the new Wednesday evening Bible College and the awesome adventures exploring God’s Word.

Galatians 6:14  But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Pastor reminded us that last week we viewed the valley of dry bones, and the Prophet prophesied life to the bones and a large army did rise up and live again.

Lazarus was also dead for 4 days, but Jesus called him forth from the grave and he was alive again.

Those who accept Jesus as Savior receive the “Gift of Life” and we have the ability to give life by sharing our Faith in Christ.  God is delivering people bringing life to a generation useless without Christ – you might say they are as dead bones.

God is opening up the windows of heaven and desires to pour out signs and wonders.  There are some businesses we would like to see shut down, and put out of business.  We do not protest, but we pray and there is power in prayer.

In the book of Numbers chapter 13, the scouts went to search out the land.  After 40 days they returned bringing back word that the land was good - - but the people are strong.  They were fearful and drained of courage.  Caleb stilled the people and said; “We are able to overcome because God is on our side.”  But the majority believed the negative report and were afraid.

A bad confession brings fear and unbelief and Good words bring success.  The silly people wept and listened to the evil report.  Even after 40 years of seeing miracles and having God provide for them, when they faced reality of going forward, they were fearful.

God spoke to Joshua in Joshua 1:6 "Be strong and courageous, for you shall give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.”

No man will be able to stand before you because God will be by your side.  God gave Joshua the same promise as He gave to Moses.

As Christians we have that same promise, “God is with you, Be courageous.”

We are at a crossroads.  Which direction will you take?

Don’t put your stock in man, but place your faith in God.  Get ready to cross the River Jordan.

Understand that no matter where you are in your walk with God, - - get ready to move forward.  Don’t be afraid of what you see – or what you hear others say.  Just step out and move ahead.

It is time to claim the land (our city) and to set the captives free from generational curses.

Search the land, look for the good, and shun that evil spirit of doubt and unbelief.

See with the eyes of God and determine what is His will on earth.  Break through and move forward.

We need more Caleb’s ready to take the victory and possess the land.

Continue to speak life to the dry bones and they shall live.

We do not need sledge hammers to break down the walls; God will cause the walls to collapse as we continue to move forward.

The story of Caleb is very special to me, as I had a son named Caleb who went to be with the Lord 20 years ago.
